Every year the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative community gathers for both its Annual Meeting and its International Conference on Dublin Core & Metadata Applications. The work agenda of the DCMI community is broad and inclusive of all aspects of innovation in metadata design, implementation, and best practices.
This year the Metadata Summit was in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the research team of POSTDATA has presented the preliminary work of the project in Session 2 “Linked Data for Data integration & Curation”.
The presentation was based on the submitted abstract “POSTDATA: Towards publishing European Poetry as Linked Open Data”.
The researcher Mariana Curado Malta, a member of the POSTDATA team, has moderated Session 4 “Metadata Quality & Metadata reuse” and organized a Professional Workshop entitled “Design your Linked Data”. Proceedings of the summit and slides of the presentations can be downloaded here. For more information see: DCMI events Website.
