We are happy to announce that CLARIN, the European Language & Technology Infrastructure, will celebrate its 9th CLARIN Annual Conference in Madrid on October 5, 6 & 7, 2020.
The Executive Director of CLARIN ERIC, Franciska de Jong, and the Central Office Coordinator, Maria Eskevich, recently visited Madrid to meet with the POSTDATA and LINHD team who are co-organizing the Annual Conference in Madrid. The team co-organizing the Madrid conference includes Elena González-Blanco as Principal Investigator, Salvador Ros as Technical Coordinator, and Leire Leguina as Project Manager.
The CLARIN Annual Conference is a forum for the wider Humanities and Social Sciences community to exchange experiences and best practices in working with the CLARIN infrastructure. The Conference is an ideal venue for sharing future plans and innovative ideas. The programme will cover a range of pertinent and cutting-edge topics for our field, from the design and operation of the CLARIN infrastructure, to the data, tools and services that it contains or should ideally contain, to its actual use by researchers. Sessions will also address CLARIN’S relation to other related infrastructures and projects, and the CLARIN Knowledge Sharing Infrastructure. Ample opportunities will be provided for informal exchange of ideas and development of collaborations.
We look forward to participation from a vibrant group of interdisciplinary colleagues.
