UNED, through its formative summer courses 2018, organizes together with LINHD and the ERC POSTDATA project, the course “Applications and possibilities of natural language processing for research in Digital Humanities”

This course is intended to be an introduction to Natural Language Processing focused on its application to the problems of research in Digital Humanities. Its goal is to introduce students with a background in humanities or social sciences to the technical content seeking a clear and diverse approach.

The Digital Humanities summer course of the UNED is held annually since 2014. It is aimed at all those interested in digital methods of research applied to the humanities, and focused mainly on people with humanistic training, but open to anyone interested.

The course is offered both, in-person and online, from 9 to July 11, 2018 at UNED.
