On October 19th, the National Library of Spain has organized the 2nd Aporta “pre-event” devoted to data reuse in the cultural sector. Elena González-Blanco, our Postdata IP, has been one of the speakers, and has talked about how language technologies have evolved from their origins in the era of Digital Humanities foundational events (Padre Busa Index Thomisticus and Turing Machine in the 1950’s) till their latest evolution in Artificial Intelligence in the web of data, with the specific use-case of POSTDATA project, the application of Natural Language Processing to poetry analysis automation and the specific phenomenon of enjambement.
