From the 18th to the 20th October, the city of Málaga held the bi-annual conference of the Hispanic Association of Digital Humanities. With the legend “Sociedades, políticas, saberes”, this event addressed Digital Humanities, as an important field of research, critical reflection and action in the process of transformation of the field of Humanities.
The program of the conference was quite broad. Among all the talks and posters which were presented, we would like to highlight the participation of the LINHD team and the members of POSTDATA.
As an active research group in the field of Digital Humanities, we have presented a few talks, some of them related to the model of POSTDATA and its prospects. In addition, we have presented HisMeTag, a user-friendly named entity recognizer tool which has been developed by the POSTDATA team, and which will be launched soon.
The conference has been very productive. We have learned a lot from many topics thanks to the great diversity and quality of the program and, in particular, to the enriching discussions that allow us to continue to grow as a team and as a project.
Here you have the link with the program 🙂
See you soon!
