“Building a common model for semantic interoperability in the digital poetry ecosystem”

Three days workshop organized in two parts

Event organised during ERC week and Beyond

The goal of the first part of the workshop is to test the common conceptual model for poetry in a digital ecosystem.

  • Definition, examples, tests and evaluation will take place during those days.

  • Next step is to define the POSTDATA Metadata Application Profile (MAP): a semantic model to be used in Linked Open Data.

  • The MAP will enhance interoperability among digital objects of poetry.

The second part of the workshop will be dedicated to the role of Controlled Vocabularies in digital environments.

  • Definition and scope of a CV, and importance of CV in POSTDATA and how to manage them in web environments.

  • Technical interoperability conditions are a critical link for the formalization: a common taxonomy for poetry

  • TemaTres, an open source software that works as vocabulary server and web application to manage and exploit vocabularies, thesauri, taxonomies.
