Last week, Helena Bermudez Sabel, POSTDATA Researcher and member of our LINHD Lab was one of the teachers of the workshop Atelier d’initiation à l’encodage XML-TEI et à la fouille de textes en espagnol that took place in Paris, at the Sorbonne Université.

During the morning, Lauranne Bertrand (Bibliothèque Nationale de France) and Mathieu Duboc (Centre d’Études Supérieures de la Renaissance) presented a very comprehensive tutorial about mark-up, TEI and XML technologies. These sessions were complementary with practical lessons during the afternoons when Antonio Rojas and a Helena Bermudez Sabel encoded together with the participants historical texts in Spanish.

The workshop was organised by the research group CLEA (EA 4083) Civilisation et Littérature d’Espagne et d’Amérique du Moyen Âge aux Lumières (https://www.clea.paris-sorbonne.fr/). We want to thank the people at CLEA for counting with us for such a rewarding experience.
